The Student Scientific Association is a student organization that brings together scientific groups operating at each of the five faculties of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
The aim of SSA is to coordinate the activities of Student Scientific Clubs, participate in the scientific life of the University and represent the student scientific movement and its achievements before the University Authorities and other scientific organizations. SSA keeps a register of scientific clubs operating at SUM, organizes conferences and awards prizes to the best students.
We strongly encourage active cooperation with scientific circles, as the experience gained will undoubtedly bear fruit in the future. Participation in conferences at the university, national and international levels, awards and distinctions received, and ultimately the culmination of work in the form of publications are an important element in the biography and scientific career of every graduate.
